Aspirion air purification device,  whose effectiveness has been confirmed by tests

conducted as part of a project implemented by the manufacturer of PVC and aluminum joinery  BEWI Bernard Wójcik as the leader, in cooperation with the University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Chemistry  under the supervision of Prof. Adriana Zaleska-Medyńska, PhD, Eng., and the Małopolska Center of Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University under the supervision of Prof. Krzysztof Pyrć, PhD.

The project involved the development of an innovative technology for removing coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, from the air using photocatalytic layers implemented in an air purification device.
